Shubman Gill's 102 in the U-19 World Cup
semi final helped India to score 272/9.
Ishan Porel led the Indian bowling unit
by taking 4 wickets to defeat Pakistan in the semi final
by 203 runs as Pakistan got bowled out at 69.
In the final match on 03.02.2018, only 216 runs
got scored by the men in YELLOW;
as along with Param Uppal, a fighting knock of 76 runs
was played by Jonathan MERLO.
Indian bowlers bowled well
in the final match to get
a round of applause from EVERYONE.
India defeated Australia by 8 wickets quite easily
to lift the U-19 World Cup of 2018 as Manjot Kalra
played an outstanding knock of 101.
Credit must also be given to the Coach, Rahul Dravid
and to the Captain, Prithvi Shaw for motivating
all the players to play cricket like a Champion TEAM.
