In 2018, Bangabhoomi Government
has sanctioned Rs.10,000
for Durga Puja to each and
every Durga Puja COMMITTEE.
During these Durga Puja days, the people
are on the streets to visit puja pandals,
be it day or night, be it in
villages or in Kolkata CITY.
Durga Puja is the worship of Goddess
Durga with lots of traditions, rituals
and faith to get her blessings
for peace and PROSPERITY.
But, somehow, that faith, tradition and
rituals of real Durga Puja is fading out as
some big Corporate Houses are using this
Durga Puja as a platform of PUBLICITY.
Durga Puja should not become the days of
Corporate Carnival to do the marketing of
the products of the sponsors or it should
not become the grand sponsored
festival of drinking WINE.
Be it 'Theme Puja' or
'Traditional Puja', the rituals,
concept and essence
of Durga Puja must
