Gone are those days, when working
in any PSU Bank had a CHARM;
anytime privatisation can happen,
be ready to hear the siren or ALARM.
In terms of 'quick customer service'
and 'quality banking', why are PSU
Banks still lagging BEHIND;
the reasons you all know, but, still,
to the callous management, again
and again, you have to REMIND.
Firstly, IT infrastructure is
still not up to the MARK;
in the 1st lap itself, in respect to private
banks, the PSU banks lose the SPARK.
Secondly, except in SBI and PNB, in
all other PSU Banks, there is a
lack of proper job ALLOCATION;
whereas, in private banks, they make
different groups with specific job roles only,
by keeping them in their home LOCATION.
Thirdly, except SBI and BOB, other PSU
Banks are still so sceptical about 'just
in time', need based RECRUITMENT;
why wait for another financial year, fill up
the vacancy immediately just like private
banks do, whenever there is any RETIREMENT.
Lastly, except SBI, PNB, BOB and Canara
Bank, no other PSU Banks abide by the
3:2:1 theory of manpower MANAGEMENT;
in a small branch, just like private banks,
there has to be 3 officers, 2 clerks and 1
sub staff, to smoothly run every DEPARTMENT."- Arindam Sain
