"The 'Aadhaar Enabled Voting
System' (AEVS) of India will
bring a worldwide REVOLUTION;
to prevent rigging at any
polling booth, it is
the best SOLUTION.
The Polling team will be
given a biometric device,
an EVM and a small LAPTOP;
only the voting queue outside
the school premises will be
controlled by a local COP.
In the 'AEVS' portal,
for each polling booth,
there will be a separate
login ID and PASSWORD;
the Presiding Officer will check
the voter's part number and click
on the 'Present' button of the 'AEVS'
portal, no need to utter any WORD.
Only the 'AEVS' portal can be
opened in that laptop, and once
you click the 'Present' BUTTON;
the attached biometric device will be
active with a red light, and the voter
needs to put his/her thumb UPON.
Then, the Presiding Officer will
press the 'EVM Activation' button in
the portal to activate the EVM which is
also attached to the laptop DEVICE;
the Polling Officer will mark the ink on
a particular finger of the voter, only
that much ink mark will SUFFICE.
At the entrance door of the polling
booth, a soldier of the Indian Army
will check voters and do their
Aadhaar Card VERIFICATION;
the Presiding Officer will ask you
to put one of your fingers on a
biometric device to mark attendance
and for biometric AUTHENTICATION.
When your biometric attendance is
complete, the EVM gets activated for
next 2 minutes for you to cast your
valuable vote within that time SPAN;
so, in each polling booth, you require
1 Presiding Officer, 1 Polling Officer
and 2 soldiers of the Indian Army only,
you don't require any other extra MAN.
In 'Aadhaar Enabled
Voting System' (AEVS) the
entire polling process is
cheaper and PAPERLESS;
and at DC/RC, in 'AEVS' portal,
automatically, the Block Office
can see how much voting is done
in the polling PROCESS."- Arindam Sain
