MOHUN BAGAN BEAT EAST BENGAL BY 2-0 AT THE 400TH KOLKATA DERBY ON 19.10.2024 !!!

"It was the 400th Kolkata Derby 
match on 19.10.2024 and the 
Saltlake Stadium was FULL;
initially the East Bengal strikers did try 
hard, but, the Mohun Bagan goalkeeper, 
Kaith was very vigilant and CAREFUL.
Mohun Bagan went for the 
counterattack and Manvir's header 
to net the ball was really EXCELLENT;
but, alas, the Mohun Bagan 
team just fell in the trap of 
offside at that MOMENT.
Had Liston Colaco been successful
in his shots, no doubt, he could 
have become the HERO;
even Mohun Bagan 
could have easily 
won this match by 5-0.
Deep defense of East Bengal got totally 
exposed as the Mohun Bagan strikers 
were raiding every now and THEN;
Manvir utilised the unmarked region 
and gave a fantastic pass and what 
a finish to score a goal by MACLAREN.
The 2nd half 
was of Maclaren and 
Rodriguez PARTNERSHIP;
though, Liston can be the 
trump card for the next matches 
in this CHAMPIONSHIP.
It was a one sided game 
where East Bengal could 
hardly make any IMPACT;
Petratos scored from a penalty 
and Mohun Bagan had to end the
