“A Staff of a hospital said, ’Sir!
You are having a Health Card of a
Medical Insurance Company, with
which we have a tie-up.
But, still, we are sorry! Without
a letter from your employer, we cannot admit
you in either hospitalization scheme
of ‘Cash’ or hospitalization scheme of ‘CASHLESS’.’
An Employee of a company said, ‘There
was only one condition that a Health Card
Holder must show a valid Identity
proof before getting admitted in any tie-up hospital
and therefore demanding a letter
from the employer in emergency cases is USELESS.’
Whenever a reputed company is
going for tie-ups with any
Medical Insurance Company, they
should make a clear cut DEAL;
that the tie-up hospitals must
admit any employee of their company without
asking for any letter from the
company when the employee is seriously ILL.”- Arindam Sain
