both New Zealand and England each
became the FINALIST.
As the days progressed, the bowlers
started to dominate in the TOURNAMENT;
really, what an 'In Swing' and
'Out Swing' bowling ENTERTAINMENT.
On 14th July 2019, at Lord's, Nicholls
scored 55 and Latham scored 47;
though, New Zealand scored only 241/8,
due to Plunkett's 3/42 and Woakes's 3/37.
For England, the run chase looked
competitive, as the New Zealand's
captain is WILLIAMSON.
The man who dismissed both Bairstow
and Butler and also took a marvellous
catch is FERGUSON.
In the initial stages, English batsmen
were not in a HURRY;
but kept on tackling the good swing bowling
attacks from Grandhomme and HENRY.
The strike rate of Butler who scored 59
was so good as he played
some smart STROKES.
After Butler's dismissal,
the eyes of all the English fans
were on STOKES.
New Zealand team is the Italian Team
of Cricket as they are expert in
defending almost any low SCORE.
So many all rounders are there in this
New Zealand team and you never know,
on a particular day, who will ROAR !
For the last 2 overs, 12.00
was the required RUN-RATE.
At the right time, Neesham took the
wicket of PLUNKETT.
Boult took the catch but his leg
touched the boundary ROPE.
The 5 bye runs gave England
again some HOPE.
Stokes remained unbeaten at 84, and a ICC
World Cup final got tied for first time EVER;
and also for the first time any ICC World Cup
final, its headed towards a 'SUPER OVER'.
In the Super Over,
England scored 15.
By losing 1 wicket by run out,
New Zealand also scored 15.
Really, what a thrilling and
competitive final match it has BEEN.
It is surely one of the best final matches,
the spectators worldwide has SEEN.
It was really very hard to differentiate
between the two finalist teams, and thanks
to them for giving us such an entertainment,
really, well played NEW ZEALAND;
but, one team has to be the winner and
for the first time ever, that is in 2019,
the ICC World Cup got
